On this page, you will find all the information you need to bring your luggage onboard the train.

Luggage areas on the trains

On the TGV and TGV France Italy trains

On board the TGV trains, you can carry hand luggage (suitcases, travel bags, backpacks), folded children's strollers and your skis.
You can also transport your bikes (disassembled and stored in a cover of 1.20 m x 0.90 m maximum) as well as your nautical boards (stored in a cover of 1.20 m x 0.90 m maximum).

TGV trains have luggage areas available beside entrances from the platforms. We recommend you use these areas for bulkier items. There is additional space available in the centre of the coaches. If you prefer to keep your luggage with you, place it on the luggage racks above your seat.

Don't bother too much! For everyone's safety, please only take with you the luggage that you can carry and place yourself in the dedicated spaces.

Is your suitcase crowding you, or larger than expected? Think of the service 'Mes Bagages'.

Discover the brand new My Baggage service in March 2021. This service is temporarily suspended.
